Overview
Penang is on the northwest coast of Peninsular Malaysia, including Penang Island and the mainland area of Seberang Perai.
Kulim is located east of Penang, in the state of Kedah—about 50 minutes to 1 hour drive via expressway.
Visitors can easily travel between the two to experience heritage, industry, nature, and culinary delights.

A Little History Founded as a British trading post in 1786, Penang became a multicultural hub blending Malay, Chinese, Indian, and European influences. George Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for colonial architecture, temples, and vibrant street life.
Manufacturing History & Current State Industrialization began in the 1970s with electronics assembly and light manufacturing. Today, Penang hosts many electronics and semiconductor firms, supported by the Penang Free Industrial Zone (PFIZ).
